Tracking Shipments
Once youโve bought something on CrackOnMate, hereโs how shipping, tracking, and delivery updates work. Simple, straight, and built for trades who just want the job done.
1๏ธโฃ Order Confirmation
As soon as you place an order, youโll get:
- An on-screen confirmation
- An email receipt
- The item added to My Orders in your Crack On Mate dashboard
This means the seller has been notified and is getting things ready.
2๏ธโฃ Seller Prepares Your Order
The seller now:
- Packs the item
- Confirms the shipping method
- Prints or generates the shipping label
- Marks the order as Processing or Completed (depending on their workflow)
If the seller uses tracked shipping, they will upload the tracking number directly to your order.
Youโll receive an email when tracking is added.
3๏ธโฃ Tracking Your Shipment
If tracking is available, youโll see it in:
My Account โ Orders โ View Order
Youโll find:
- Courier name (Royal Mail, Evri, DPD, etc.)
- Tracking code
- A link to the courierโs tracking page
4๏ธโฃ Delivery Timeframes
Delivery times vary by seller, but generally:
- Tracked 24 / Next Day: 1 business day
- Tracked 48: 2โ3 business days
- Economy couriers: 3โ5 business days
- Oversized or heavy items: Seller will provide a collection or pallet delivery arrangement
If the seller only offers local pickup, this will be clearly shown at checkout.
5๏ธโฃ Collection (If Offered)
Some trades prefer pickup to avoid shipping big or heavy items.
If pickup is selected:
- Youโll get a message from the seller with location and possible times
- Arrange a safe, convenient time
- Mark the item as Collected in your order once you have it
Tip: Bring proof of purchase or show your order screen.
6๏ธโฃ Shipment Updates
Youโll receive automatic updates when:
- The seller marks the order as Shipped
- Tracking is added or updated
- Delivery is confirmed
These arrive by email and show in your CrackOnMate dashboard.
7๏ธโฃ If Thereโs a Delay
If your item hasnโt moved for a few days:
- Check the courierโs tracking link
- Message the seller through CrackOnMate for an update
- Give them time to check with the courier
Most delays are courier-side, especially during busy periods.
8๏ธโฃ Item Delivered
Once your item lands:
- Inspect it
- Make sure it matches the listing
- Test it (for tools) if needed
- Contact the seller promptly through CrackOnMate if anything isnโt right
Most issues are easily sorted with clear communication.
9๏ธโฃ Complete the Purchase
Once everything checks out, you can:
- Leave feedback
- Rate the seller
- Add them to favourites if they consistently list good gear
Feedback helps other trades know whoโs reliable.
Buyer House Rules for Shipping
- Keep communications polite and prompt
- Donโt arrange anything outside the platform
- For pickup, show up on time
- Report issues early so they can be resolved fast
- Keep tracking details private and secure
